Sexual Offences

Sexual offences are extremely serious violations of the law. Unlawful Intercourse

Any man who engages in unlawful intercourse with a girl under the age of 13 is punishable by up to life imprisonment and intercourse with a girl under the age of 16 faces up to 5 years imprisonment

Indecent Assault

Indecent assault encompasses a wide range of sexual acts, such as intentionally touching a stranger's private parts (including thighs and buttocks). You may face up to 10 years imprisonment

Voyeurism

Voyeurism often involves an act of non-consensual observation of another person or visual recording (such as photograph, videotape or digital image) of another person for a sexual purpose or pleasure. The maximum penalty for this offence is 5 years' imprisonment

Indecent Behaviour in Public Places

Any person who, without lawful authority or excuse, indecently exposes any part of their body in a public place commits a crime, punishable by a fine of up to HK$2,000 and 6 months' imprisonment
